The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Global Conference: Prosperity through Hydrological Services will be held from 7 to 9 May, 2018 in Geneva.
The general idea behind this Conference is to present, to decision makers and key practitioners worldwide, a holistic picture of the initiatives and solutions international organizations and their partners are promoting to improve the quality and availability of hydrological services, and allow those interested to express their intention to engage in partnerships, or support in any other form different activities aimed at strengthening the provision and use of these hydrological services.

The Conference will help catalyse collaboration to support initiatives aiming at increasing hydrological services worldwide for prosperity. The Conference will also help mobilize closer links among water communities, hydrological products/information providers and decision makers resulting in greater recognition and use of hydrological services for safety and prosperity.
